The second time was almost a week later at the Harkins Tucson Spectrum 18, where I went by myself and was sitting among roughly 10-12 people. (?) As I expected, she liked it and he hated it. Mom had insisted on going (she actually wanted to see it, having become interested in Dahmer when he was first thrust into the public eye back in ‘91) and eventually she convinced Dad to tag along and make it a family thing. I was also horribly embarrassed to have brought both my (very conservative) parents with me, and covered my eyes out of sheer mortification on two separate occasions. The sound and picture quality was pretty bad, because it’s an old, run-down non-profit theater, the crowd made me nervous and my dear old dad would not shut his pie hole, so I wound up not hearing several bits of key dialogue. ![]() ![]() It was the Tucson premiere at a sold-out show, because we were all duped into thinking it was the only time it would ever be shown here, since it’s such an obscure indie movie. First time was at The Loft with my parents.
